Jio Introduces a ₹100 Recharge Plan with 5GB Data and 90-Day Jio Hotstar Subscription

In the wake of the JioCinema and Disney+ Hotstar merger, Reliance Jio has silently removed the fundamental JioCinema benefits from of Jio Hotstar recharge plan. The company on Sunday, launched the first Jio ₹100 plan that is data-only which includes 90 days of Jio Hotstar subscription along with 5GB of data for 100.

This plan is listed at Jio.com with a duration period of 90 days. In contrast to Jio's normal Jio Hotstar mobile plan that costs just Rs 149 for 90 days, and is limited for mobile devices, the Jio new recharge plan 2025 lets users to stream web-based films, series and live sports -- such as the coming IPL 2025 on both smartphones and Jio smart TV recharge with speeds up to 1080p. For comparison, a separate recharge option for the Jio Hotstar Super Plan costs just 299 rupees, making it an excellent value-for-money recharge option, particularly for those who don't have the Jio Hotstar subscription.

This plan doesn't provide any benefits for SMS or calling however, users will need an existing Jio cricket pack to be able to use Jio's most recent data-only package along with it's Jio Hotstar subscription. You can also look into Jio's Rs.195 cricket data bundle that offers 15GB of 4G/5G internet with 90 days of Jio Hotstar subscription. But, this plan is only available on mobile devices and doesn't allow streaming on smart televisions.

This is a fascinating recharge option from Jio since it dramatically lowers the cost of best Jio recharge for IPL 2025. In addition, it comes with 5GB of additional 4G/5G data which is useful to stream content with higher resolutions.
